Alloy surcharge

The latest alloy surcharges for our current stainless steel materials.

The alloy surcharge refers to the element of the sale price that is charged by steelmakers and steel traders in addition to the basic price for stainless steel. It is set monthly and valid for the entire month. The amount of the alloy surcharge is dependent on the price trend of the alloy elements such as chromium and nickel, which are added to the stainless steels. These commodities are traded in US dollars, which is why the Euro / US $ exchange rate also comes into the calculation.
